Audeze LCD-X Over Ear Open Back Headphone New 2021 Version Creator Package with Carry case

These headphones are beautifully crafted and sound amazing. The stage is kind of narrow but they offer exceptional clarity and are exciting and fun to listen to.

I generally prefer a neutral tuned headphone, hence my daily driven Audio Techicna R70Xs (maybe slightly warm). Keep in mind the LCD-X headphones are listed under Audeze’s “reference” class.

Best headphones I own, absolutely hifi, bring out the best in music. Heavy, yes, but dont let naysayers turn you off completely.

Had a hard time deciding between lcd x, Arya and focal clear. Super happy with these, amazing sound quality. They’re def heavy, so I need to take a break after 4 hours or so. I’m sure I’ll get used to them more as time passes as it’s only a minor discomfort after the 4th hour. Bass hits perfect and the detail in every instrument is surreal.

These headphones are absolutely incredible. If you are reading this im sure you’ve read other reviews. These have incredible tonality, imaging, and sound stage. These are “reference” headphones geared toward music production and will need some boost in the low frequencies for most people. But they respond perfectly to EQ and sound incredible.

I spent some time listening to and comparing my current multiple conventional dynamic headphones, all with broadly similar sound, in the $99 to $350 price range. This activity inspired me to wonder what owning better headphones might be like.

An absolute joy and a total upgrade coming from the hifiman sundara. I wasnt even aware they would come with this absurdly robust case but appreciate the bonus. I dont know that this can be topped. Maybe top level stax or abyss but those are 5x the price.

This is the “best tuned” Audeze IMHO, it’s the closest to a Focal Clear MG in terms of neutrality and accuracy on the frequency response. However it contains a better wider and bigger soundstage.

Amazing headphones just got better.
