This laptop is great, very fast and with lots of memory (I take machine learning courses and need lots of memory). The only downside is battery life for me this is not an issue since I am not a road warrior. It also has a setting that only permits charging to 80% to save battry life so leaving it plugged in is not an issue.

Right when i received it, there were several loose/wobbly keys. Normally this wouldnt be a dealer-breaker, but the backspace key started making an obnoxious squeaking noise after a few presses.

To be honest, I am not sure if the issue is with the ASUS Zenbook or Windows 11, but I have a similar work HP with Windows 11 that does not have the issues I am experiencing.

Too expensive for what you wind up with.

Been very happy with this laptop, hasn’t blinked yet with anything I’ve thrown at it. I do a decent amount of photo/video editing and light gaming. No issues with battery life either as I know that’s been a common issue.

Where to start? Has to be the design because if youre buying the laptop, the design is the biggest part. Its very good and an attention getter. Design standouts include etched space edition branding (simulating external paneling on a space station), an OLED external display with an astronaut screensaver (among a few limited others), and a subtle darker(ish) titanium color evoking most premium laptops since the Apple Powerbook G4 (damn I miss that one). DId I mention how much of an attention-getter the external display is? Not quite on the level of wearing Google Glass but on the same spectrum.

Im comparing this laptop with a ThinkPad P1 Gen5, a ThinkPad X1C 7th gen, and the MacBook Pro M1 Max.
