> 3 dayScreen and sound are fantastic, but sadly after 14 weeks motherboard had to be replaced. Now I have to send to ASUS to be repaired. This is crazy. No computer for 1 to 2 months. Stay away from ASUS.

> 3 dayThis is one of the best laptops you can get for this price range, so I was disappointed when I had to return it. It has a great CPU and can handle light gaming. The one thing that is making me return this is the fan noise. It is obnoxiously loud. I thought I would get used to it, but after a couple weeks of using it, it still gets on my nerves. I understand that laptops will have some fan noise during use, but this isnt just some white noise in the background. There is a high-pitched whistling that makes it even more distracting. I would never be able to go anywhere in public with this laptop. If fan noise doesnt bother you, then this is a great laptop. Otherwise, buy something else.

> 3 dayUnfortunately I believe I must return this computer. It has constant wireless connectivity issues. Webpage loading times are enormous. This is not acceptable from a $600 laptop. I cannot recommend this computer. Honestly it is quite bad.

Greater than one weekI have had this ASUS VivoBook 15 laptop (AMD Quad Core R7-3700U CPU) for about two weeks now, and I am really impressed with it. I primarily use it for programming C++ and Python, as well general internet surfing. The machine has proven to be very quick and responsive. The SSD drive allows quick startups and shutdowns. The screen is very nice, with a vivid and sharp display. I have not experienced any fan noise at all, but have not played any demanding games. I was a little apprehensive about the chiclet keyboard, but I have found it to be very pleasant and accurate to type on. My only concern is what seems to be a fairly rapid discharge of the battery. However since this is my first laptop in quite a few years I really cannot compare this units battery discharge rate with any other machines.

Greater than one weekCame a little late, but amazon took care of it. Got it unpacked and booted up 1st thing i noticed was the cpu was only clocked @ 2.3ghz its advertised as a 4ghz cpu which is only jus over half as advertised!! extremely mad!!! And before anyone thinks, well hey jus OC it. Except the cpu chipset doesnt work with overclocking software.... so now stuck between a rock and a hard place, as i need the laptop for my shop.

Greater than one weekI am just a casual computer surfer, so all I really want is something that lets me be online and have a few things running at the same time. This computer is perfect for all that I need. However, there are 3 things that I do not like.

> 3 dayThe keyboard is starting to fail after only a couple years, and its not easy to find a replacement for it, so I may just have to scrap the whole thing.
