Laptop startup is fast, 10 seconds to turn on. It does heat up. The fan is noisy. I can tell its working hard to cool even in the AC. I run Sims 3 with about 8 expansion packs on this, so a bit of a heavy game to run. It functions pretty well, game runs fast.

So far it was much cheaper than my older Sager NP9570 and much lighter. It was always a chore loading the Sager into aa Demolition Backpack and lugging the 20+lbs(Single Nvidia graphics card and single power supply brick)

I bought this because I was overseas and didnt want to pay a ton of money for something that could potentially get packed full of sand. I have to say Im highly impressed, it runs extremely well, it seems the way they designed the cooling and the fans keeps a lot of debris out. It took a beating and has kept on running like it were still new. I havent needed to add extra storage yet. Overall, it is better than I anticipated for much cheaper than the competition.
