> 24 hourHad been sometimes using an old Toshiba with Neverware. Interesting but not that useful. I wanted a good Chromebook and it was well worth it.

> 24 hourNice big screen Chromebook with long term updates. The screen quality and overall performance are good for a Chromebook at this price range. It has good battery life. I have been very happy with it so far.

> 24 hourThis Chromebook would not turn on. Or at least the screen would not wake up. Until I put it back in the box to send it back then magically the screen turned on. So thats the way it got shipped back.

> 24 hourI bought this Chromebook for my 76 year old mother. I was the one who did the setup. The initial setup failed over and over. It connected to the internet, but would not set up the primary user. It would allow me to login as a guest, but not set up the primary. I researched and found this is a known error with some Chromebooks. It doesnt appear to be brand specific, but rather has to do with the version of the Chome OS, theres a bug in the OS. I ended up having to follow the steps to completely reinstall the operating system. All in all, it took me a couple of days between researching, downloading the new OS (the download itself was also a bit buggy to get) and reinstalling the OS and then finishing the setup. For a product that is supposed to be simple to use, I was very disappointed. The option of returning for a new one was there, but my mom lives on the other side of the country from me and is not tech savvy so she would have had no idea what to do to set it up once the new one got there, because I was only there for a week. Once I got it set up, it seems fine, and the machine itself is attractive with a large screen and great resolution. It gets a 2 star rating because it arrived as a brick, but I was able to fix it.

> 24 hourI got this because I wanted a thin lightweight laptop for use at the house to mainly use for web browsing, email, social media, online shopping, etc. I have always used Windows and was not sure of getting a Chromebook, but for the price and features I thought I would give one a try for my needs this time, and I am 100% satisfied. This laptop is wonderful, the 17 screen is very clear and bright, the unit itself is very responsive and fast when launching apps and accessing web pages, and although large it is thin and lightweight. I use for an hour or more every couple of days and charge it maybe once a week, and it charges very fast (USB-C connector). Since I use it at home, I always have WiFi access and have had no issues with it running ChromeOS and its requirements. ASUS has always made good products, in my opinion, and this one is no different. For the large screen size, good performance, and overall functionality, I must recommend this Chromebook for anyone that just needs a laptop for accessing online resources and applications; I am completely satisfied.

> 24 hourIm satisfied that this is a good deal. I wanted a big screen, weight was not an issue, setup was easy. If you understand what a Chrome book is, this is a good machine. I dont do image processing or other processor heavy stuff.
