> 3 dayThis thing is the coolest. This is my first arduino (having previously only worked on WiPys and industrial embedded devices). Being a creature of habbit, I was uneasy about using the accompanying IDE at first (preferring vim and my command-line), but once I gave it a shot it made compiling, debugging, and updating the hardware amazingly easy.

Open source and extensible hardwareThe plans of the Arduino boards are published under a Creative Commons license, so experienced circuit designers can make their own version of the module, extending it and improving it.
