> 3 dayIve been into electronics since I was a kid and Im in my 50s now. I hadnt dabbled in hobby hardware very much for the last few years, have most worked with test equipment and software at work. So the Arduino is a really cool way to put some smarts into your projects. The programming is pretty simple, but you will need to google Arduino and download the software. Theres tons of software and examples out there, the Arduino is very popular. There are a lot of different Arduino boards out there. This one, the Arduino UNO is the base model and a good one to get started with. The Rev.3 is the lastest version. I also recommend The Arduino Cookbook, 2nd revision by Michael Margolis, well worth for getting started and for future reference.
