Greater than one weekThe Uno wouldnt connect, so I did a loopback test and it looks like the USB controller is dead. I guess the lesson is dont buy these directly from Amazon? Maybe mine is a counterfeit, though it did have the hologram on the box. Frustrating.

Greater than one weekThe Arduino UNO R3 does not come with the USB cable but I was able to find one and it works perfectly fine.
