Always used this stuff, never let me down yet. Just replaced it with the same stuff I had in there from 2 years ago, was still good, but I had to replace my fan on heatsink so I redid the grease as well. Forgot I still had some from years ago haha after ordering. O well I used the fresh tube. Redid my moms PC just recently. I used this stuff on her PC about 5 years ago, and that was still in decent condition. So it lasts a long time. Not very messy unless u use allot and are not steady putting the heatsink back in. Thats more human error though haha. So be careful how much u use.

Does what it is supposed to do as well or better than any other thermal compound. You can mount quite a few processors when you use the correct amount.

I purchased AS5 in hopes of avoiding yet another motherboard replacement in my laptop (XPS M1530). I have seen temps decrease on my CPU and GPU by up to 10 deg C, and even when the computer is not my laptop cooler, I only hear the fans after very extended use or while streaming media or playing a DVD. Great stuff if you take your time while applying it. Would definitely recommend!
