> 3 dayMy GPU usually operated between 100 to 120 F. Last week, it cruised into the 160 F range and never went down. During internet searches and downloads, it fluctuated into 170 F. Upon inspection, the reason for the high temperature was obvious. The original thermal paste was dried. It had to be scrapped with an Exacto knife and cleaned with rubbing alcohol.
