Thick enough to spread like a wet jar of cheap peanut butter, And it works better than Mayonnaise, Toothpaste, Diaper rash cream, or Mustard(Yes Ive used those in a pinch..they work, mostly).

> 3 dayI had a replacement H 60 cpu water cooler that came with a little heat paste on from factory. My cpu would slowly heat up and shut down. Replaced stock paste with Arctic Mx-4 paste and computer stays running. That is all I wanted from a paste.

> 3 dayThere are a lot of great thermal compounds on the market, but none of them come close to MX-4 for the price. Ive overhauled 2 laptops and 2 desktops so far this year, and I used MX-4 on all of them. I noticed a drastic improvement in cooling after re-pasting both laptop CPUs, and theyre still running as cool as they were the day I put them back together. I installed new processors in both desktops, and neither have experienced issues with cooling (even though they are both small form factor cases with powerful CPUs and GPUs installed under heavy work loads) after using this thermal paste for the re-builds. In other words, its 4 for 4 so far for me, and I have yet to see a drop in performance.
