Greater than one weekAfter replacing the stock thermal paste with the ARCTIC MX-4, the processor on my MSI GE626QF runs at least 5 degrees (Celsius) cooler. (I had to change my fans and detach the heat sink, so I took this opportunity to replace the thermal paste as well.)

> 3 dayMX-4 should be the standard for which all other thermal compounds should be judged. In my opinion, its the gold standard. I know there are other formulas out there, even the liquid metal, but I just dont trust the liquid metal since it is electrically conductive and may pose a risk if you apply too much.

> 3 dayNoticed my PC idling at over 50 C and sounding like it was about to take flight under load (65 C+). Decided to give it a good cleaning. Thats when I noticed the thermal paste on my cpu looked dried and cracked. Replaced it with this bad boi and it helped tremendously. My idle Temps only dropped about 5 degrees, but Temps under load were well over 12-20 degrees different. My fan kicks into high gear when loaded at one point my temps dropped to around 35C!!

The paste was easy to apply with the included spatula, and its improved the thermal performance significantly. Ive had no issues with the paste so far and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable thermal paste.
