> 24 hourI was a bit skeptical about cleaning the CPU, heat sink and applying fresh thermal paste by myself. Besides, I wasnt sure if the paste will be up to the mark. ARCTIC MX-4 seemed expensive but I am happy with the results. I applied it with 5-dots on CPU. Left the desktop open for about 30 minutes after putting heat sink on top of CPU. Did stress test with Prime95 and my CPU temp did not cross 43C. Before this, it will shoot to above 80C when loaded. I hope it stays that way for at least a year.

> 24 hourWas quite skeptical paying 849 for a thermal paste, now I realize it was worth every rupee spent! I used it on my Legion Y540 and the performance and temperature drops were instantly noticeable. Max temperature dropped from 92° to a mere 64°C. Would suggest replacing the stock thermal paste with this. Would be nice if there was a variant with lesser quantity as 4 grams are a lot.
