> 3 dayThis heating pad is high quality. The cord is longer and heavier duty that other pads I have used. It heats up quickly and is cat approved. The pad is a very pretty green and feels like velvet. It is also the perfect size to place in a cat bed for extra snuggly comfort. I like being able to set the timer and know that the heating pad will turn off.

> 3 dayI love this heating pad, the quality of the pad, the remote and especially the cord is great, the cord is very strong and durable, the remote is very responsive and all settings appear to work fine, I love the timer settings for automatic shut off, this would also be perfect for outdoor use. Another thing that’s great is that the smaller size pad fits inside most single animal beds that you can unzip which is pretty awesome. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayWe have one if I fits, I sits cat and one that generally doesnt seem to like typical cat toys. I saw this and thought of the times my heating pad has been stolen. Ciaran has all but camped out on it non-stop. The first day, he didnt leave it unless he absolutely needed to (eating, drinking, etc) The temperature range is perfect for cats, and matched the description when I took our thermometer to it. I really appreciated the lack of factory smells when it arrived and considering the cats were happy to lay on it, I think they agreed. I didnt exactly time the auto-shut-off feature, but its at least vaguely in the correct range. The fabric on it is soft and has a zipper to open and wash it if needed. I cant comment on the cords chew cover thing, as my cats arent cord-chewers.

Greater than one weekI cant speak for it being chew proof, but, I have a semi-aquatic turtle (about 10 inches long) who loves hanging out on it under her little home made cave. Its her favorite place to be when I take her out of her aquarium.

> 3 dayPROS: 1. It’s well made. The cord is thick, strong, flexible and chew proof. 2. The zippered slip cover is soft and silky, just what a cat wants in order to do ‘biscuits’ before settling in. The cover’s washable. 3. Although the blanket has a number of temperature settings, the temperature never goes beyond a warming blanket temperature. When the weight of a 12 lb. cat lays on it, it feels warmer than when you just rest your hand on it. 4. The internal coils are protected by a very think vinyl covering so there is very little likelihood that our cats will damage it. They seem to just want to be comfortable and warm on it. 5. The control has variable setting for a timer in increments of: 4, 8, 12, and 24 hrs. So you can leave and know that the blanket will automatically turn off while you’re gone. 6. Our cats like it. CONS: 1. Although it feels great, the zippered slip cover is relatively thin so I don’t know how long the cover will last over the long haul. For our cats who are not destructive, it will be fine. 2. They tell you not to put a pet bed on it. 3. You can still feel the coils slightly through the outer covering, it’s not overt but I wondered if that would be less comfortable than it you couldn’t feel the coils at all. CONCLUSION: Overall, we’re please with the mat. It’s well made, doesn’t heat up too much and the cats like it...a definite keeper.

> 3 dayYour fur baby will be so cozy and happy. My cat Loki absolutely loves his. We keep it on everyday for him and it’s his favorite spot. Really nice size and warms up quickly. It definitely warms up a lot more when they sit on it between the heat from the pad and their body.

> 3 dayI had some reservations about this pad before ordering. My 14 year old lynxpoint Siamese is quite picky (as most cats and especially Siamese mixes tend to be) when it comes to where she likes to sit and lay. She enjoys heated blankets but only if they are fleecy. It doesn’t get superbly hot and the I can’t confirm that the timer actually runs for the listed time (it feels like it’s either half an hour short sometimes and half an hour long others), but it does a good job of being a desirable heated pet mat. The cable is nicely done and definitely bite/claw resistant, Although I don’t think it would hold up to an adult dog giving it a go. The washable cover is nice and soft, and the inner heating could aren’t super stiff which is nice. For the cost listed and the approval of my spoiled girl, I can confidently say this is a 5 star pad. If the pad dies in the before the end of the winter season this year, I’ll come back to edit and adjust my rating accordingly.

> 3 dayI got this for my senior dog who sleeps in our closet but gets cold at night. She is making good use of it and if she gets too warm, she just gets off of it and lies down elsewhere. I have a fuzzy blanket over the pad and I set the heat to low. I set the timer for 8 hours. The timer works great and has turned off every morning. This is a great feature for us. I like this heating pad and now I dont worry that my baby girl is too cold.

> 3 dayThis bed in size M is a good size for my large (and long) cat. Hes 17 years old now and loooves heated beds so I have several of them throughout the house for him. This one has a sort of slippery velvet cover, which he doesnt love the feel of, so I will probably throw a towel or piece of fleece fabric over it (he loves the texture of a towel). I dont ever put it above setting 3 (104 degrees) because he gets too warm and wont stay on the bed for long naps if its set to higher than that. Setting 2 and he could nap there all afternoon with no problem. The timer function also works as it should, which is great because I dont like leaving heated beds on when were not around. Overall this works as I expected and I would recommend it. Hope this helps!
