I ordered per my son’s request. I think it was costly; however, at the time I didn’t realize it was an Apple product ( per my son). Regardless, he likes it and is satisfied.

Ah yes, another product from Apple Inc branded as “Magic”. When you hear that marketing, you know they’re getting serious. Just place your iPad on it and now it’s practically a full laptop experience. Complete with a charging port and arguably the best trackpad and keyboard in the game, and you’ve got yourself a nice package.

Great keypad-excellent touch and feel-great lighting

Fantastic keyboard with a really clean and sleek look, huge downsides however are that the keyboard case doesn’t protect the iPad all that well because there’s nothing surrounding the edges of the iPad, another is that this is a FINGER PRINT AND DUST MAGNET, will get dirty INSTANTLY

They keyboard is expensive no doubt! But its so WORTH IT! The typing experience is amazing! The keyboard materials are very high quality and solid. The only negative is the limited viewing angles. I wish the iPad could be pushed back just a little bit more, but it is still amazing. I use this primarily on my desk. The case doesn’t offer a lot of protection if you drop it so keep that in mind. I would even suggest putting the iPad with the keyboard in a sleeve type of case or soft bag when carrying or putting in your backpack or bag. Lastly, careful when ordering from Amazon, I’m pretty sure my keyboard was a returned item. I noticed the hinge was slightly dirty and the shift key has a tiny white chip on the edge. After cleaning it thoroughly it look completely unused and the chip is very small that i decided it wasn’t worth returning, but i was annoyed because this is a $300 accessory!

I have a 2017 10.5 iPad Pro. I bought a magic keyboard with the iPad and it worked fine until about 6 months ago. Then it worked intermittently. Its enough of a problem that I thought about buying a new one until I saw how much they cost now. Thats a lot more than I paid for mine. I guess they must come gold plated now.
