Im from Australia and bought a $50 Apple gift card for a friend in America, delivered instantly by email. My friend keeps trying to explain to me that this card just doesnt work.

I attempted to use my gift card and it was declined. I contacted Apple and was told that it had already been redeemed by an “unrelated account” and that there was nothing that they could do to refund me and that I would have to speak with Amazon. So I called Amazon and was told that because this is a “branded gift card” that there was nothing that could be done. I was flabbergasted!! SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT I AM JUST OUT OF $50!! This is totally unacceptable. To make a long story short I asked to speak to a supervisor and ended up getting a credit to my Amazon account which is ok because I am always on here shopping. The point of me writing this review is to let others know about my experience. It was so stressful and I spent about two hours in total on the phone between calling apple customer service and Amazon and it was a complete headache. So never again will I purchase an electronic gift card, in the future I will get a physical gift card only. This ordeal was two hours of my life I will never get back and so unnecessary and frustrating.

My money was wasted and I was actually a fool for falling for this. It doesn’t work don’t waste your money and time

Had trouble didn’t get it right away took two days not 5 minutes that they claim. Sorry but very disappointed with it.
