I bought a similar item from Inland at half the price. Junk! The Anker product is much better. Both adapters fit side-by-side in a Mac. The little light is very helpful. I havent measured speed or charging capability yet.

I bought myself a new Mac to find out that it did not have a USB port. This adapter was just what I needed.

Value for money

I have a 2021 MacBook Pro and a 2022 Mac Studio and a lot of devices that charge or connect via USB-A so these are really handy to have around. It would be ideal to have direct USB-C cables but these dont exist for some products or would cost more than using adapters.

Only have used them for a week but they work as expected. The best part is that they are very small and easy to carry around. I like that theres a little LED light when you plug it in.

This USB C to USB 3 adapter is the solution to my problem. The problem is a few old thumb drives and CD drives still wanting to connect with USB 3 to my new computer with few USB 3 ports. This adapter is ideal for me. There are two and the package they come in acts as storage since the plastic is openable from the front. Makes them easy to find and store. I could easily lose them if I had to rely on any other system. Ive tried them with thumb drives and they work as advertised. Anker is a quality manufacturer and I recommend them highly.

These USB C to A Adapters work exactly as expected. My only complaint is that they (by necessity) extend the length of whatever youre attaching by about an inch. This might make it easier to snap off, twist, or bend the connected devices, especially if (like in my case) youre using them with flash drives plugged into a laptop.

The best thing about this is that you can put both of them side by side on the Mac Book Pro and they fit. The material is solid. And theyre Anker. That says it. I am so far satisfied with it and I hope Anker never lets me down because if it proves not worthy, I definitely will update this review.

Very sturdy USB C Adapter. You can get cheaper ones. This one is solid and is going to last.
