I was given a USB stick drive with photos but couldnt access it with my Chromebook. This USB A to USB C was a problem solver. I was able to transfer the files easily and quickly.

Product does not work as advertised, you cannot view or see any data from any USB stick. I tried multiple that I confirmed that work on my laptops. Whole point was to be able to see and work on my files on my iPad Pro and it doesn’t work at all. Don’t waste your money.

Just what I needed for my macbook pro 16 inch. Two of these fits on one side, as opposed to the fat samsung adapters that comes with galaxy phones.

I have used different connectors, but all were longer. These are shorter and provide a good connection

I have always had good results from Anker products, but I have to say I am disappointed with this adapter. Let me say that it does function, it works changing a usb-a to a usb-c so that you may use for instance the 1000s of older cords you have laying around like I do. I was hoping that these adapters would allow me access to faster charging with the cords I have, not so. I was hoping I could utilize a memory stick with my Apple product with usb-c port. Nope. All that this does is change a usb-a to a usb-c. To Ankers credit, I dont believe they claimed it would work like I was hoping, although it does state high speed data transfer in their description, and there are some reviews that people say they were able to produce satisfactory results like this. Dont go by these reviews. In my opinion the price I paid for the adapters is just too high. Do yourself a favor and just replace your usb-a cords with usb-c cords, and look elsewhere if youre looking to move files from a computer with usb-c connectors to a memory stick. Dont waste your money here.
