The product is well-made, sturdy and won’t tip over even when my guinea pigs stand up on it. But it did not reduce hay waste whatsoever. Sigh.

Bought a 2nd one for my other bunny. They actually eat their hay out of it.

Over the years, with a variety of guinea pigs, Ive tried numerous hay arrangements to let the guinea pigs enjoy fresh hay. Safety, accessibility, and ease of keeping the hay relatively clean, were big considerations. Hands down, this hay dispenser is the best. Just a little mess from the pulled out hay; easy to fill; stays clean; really good accessibility when theres more than one guinea pig (also safe--no danger of a head or paw getting hurt. Sorry to see this is currently unavailable. If it comes back, GET ONE--you WILL be pleased, and so will your guinea pig.

I have several guinea pigs. I have wasted so much hay. They would knock down hay feeder making mess, pee all over hay because they would get on top of feeder while they ate, etc. I put this in my big cage with 5 girls in it. They love it! So do I. No waste and no mess. Just bought another one.

Love this! My two bunnies make much less of a mess with this than my previous dish like hay feeder. They stay busy picking the pieces out and bonus when they get bored it makes for a good chew toy for them! Super happy with it at a great price and very easy assembly.

This product is made great. Its sturdy and holds a LOT of hay. Its heavy so it isnt gonna be knocked over easily. Definitely worth the price and it cuts down on the hay mess. Not perfect, but improved for sure. My bunny loves it!
