AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-core, 24-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

I have been waiting to max out my AM4 platform with a Ryzen 5x series and although I was watching the X3D closely, just couldnt go wrong when this was on sale well below the X3D and barely higher than the 5800. It does run a little hot, but no crashes and noticeable improvements over my 3700X.

Way less stuttering, higher 1% and average fps. Good for price now. Tarkov runs a lot better but still not perfect, maybe I should have went with the 5800x3d. Only time will tell but overall very satisfied with this cpu and 2070s combo

Excelente Processador

Amazing CPU as everyone is probably aware by now. Have been using this daily for just over a year. Installed in a X570 Aorus Pro WiFi/32gb 3600 mild oc @ 3733mhz/xfx Merc 6800xt. Have this rig plugged into a 27 155hz monitor and an OLED tv with 4k/120hz. Will last me a long time as I dont think Ill need a reason to upgrade for a while. This rig is a central entertainment center - music/movies/YouTube/games/etc. It gets a lot of use everything from my electric guitar to an E50 dac/L50 amp stack, another wireless dac/amp for when Im in my favorite chair and using the PC with the TV but need to be quiet, blah blah. For home use I dont really see how anyone could need more power is the point Im trying to make. Crushes every benchmark. Plays all games Ive tried with no issues and its a different experience with 4k/120hz on the TV thru the receiver and 5.1 surround sound. Loads all applications quickly. Its a little touchy to get above 1800 infinity fabric, but still can depending on your choice of mobo/ram combination and maybe a little luck.

Box was little crushed waiting on motherboard come in July 11 to see if as good as everyone says it is cant wait im very happy to get this cpu its very hard to get I will update review soon PC table build dual mother boards

As the headline says, Awesome CPU for the money and is very stable.

My CPU easily exceeds the 4.8 boost frequency and performs beyond my wildest expectations; up to 5.1G so far using PBO. Best to pair this chip with a high end motherboard and a high end cooler. I recommend installing the latest MB BIOS. Performance Test benchmark exceeds 42,000. PBO feature is phenomenal and will get you the best performance your rig can deliver. My MB is ASUS Crosshair VII. WiFi Using GSkill 3200 Samsung b-die with timings 13-13-14-14-26-54 1T all other auto. Idles 15F over ambient. My best advice; dont go cheap on the motherboard and pick one thats been on the market awhile and has a mature BIOS.

First I will start with the (very) minor con, its warm. Like really warm. I went from a Ryzen 7 1700 on a high end air cooler that barely went to 70 degrees C.
