Upgraded a 5600X and the difference is obvious. Probably silicon lottery difference plays a part, but I had the most difficult time running smart memory access function and had intermittent freezes and hang ups while gaming. This upgrade has completely eliminated all of this and SMA has been running flawlessly since the install. Highly recommend the best possible CPU for any system even if it doesnt necessarily show up in higher FPS for games. There is so much more to the PC experience than just a number of frames/sec in a game.

Not much different than its predecessor 3900x. Very disappointed I could not get the Ram to 4000Mhz and the FCLK only at 1933Mhz (AMD hinted you can get 2000Mhz). I was able to get the 3900x to an FCLK of 1900Mhz.

Look I’m new to PCs but I have played games my entire life so let me explain to you why you should buy this CPU especially if it’s on sale $350 or less. The next gen CPUs are gonna be awesome but their value for performance just won’t be able to match this generation when you account for sales instead msrp. I just built a pc with this and a 3080 I get the following fps in 1080p max settings and waiting for new 1440p monitor: 600+ fps valorant, 700+ fps rocket league, 150+ warzone (No DLSS, Raytracing on), Apex 170-200. Just watch some CPU comparison videos and I promise you will be convinced like I was.

Teuer aber dafür Ultra schnell. Rennt wie die Pest mit ausreichend Reserven. Wird zudem kaum warm. TOP !!!

If youre like me you are probably debating between the 5900X and the 5950X if youre looking for a significant CPU upgrade. My previous CPU was 8-cores, so logically I thought 16-core (the 5950X) would be the obvious upgrade as its twice as much but that logic doesnt quite apply depending on what you intend to use the computer for. Instead, the 12-core 5900X is much more suited to my needs and saved me a couple hundred dollars.

I upgraded to this over the 3800x. All in all a great product. Im not really an overclocker so I cant speak to extra performance. All in all I am very happy with the purchase. I just wish because of the chip shortage I could have gotten this sooner and cheaper.
