AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

My first Ryzen and its a darn good one.

Finally made the switch from Intel to AMD and I wish I wouldve done it sooner...this chip is an absolute beast...can handle just about anything you throw at it

I kept watching Amazon, then got a notification alert from Amazon that it was back in stock on 8/16. Stock lasted for 2 or 3 days. I have mine running on a Gigabyte Aurous Xtreme X570 and its fantastic. When the 3950xs come out, Ill probably upgrade to that.

I upgraded from a 2nd gen i5 to this. Its a huge difference. I would go as far as to say this processor is overkill. CPU intensive games used to run my i5 to 90% cpu, now with the 3900x they run at 5%. Streaming at 4k while playing games? 20% cpu. I did a prime 95 stress test on it with the stock cooler just to make sure itd be ok, turns out nothing I throw at this thing otherwise will even get it warm. 10/10 would recommend for anyone that wants to have an unnecessarily powerful cpu.

Pros: Great processor that flexibility adapts to different types of work: excellent single core and leading multi-core performance for a very competitive price. Probably among the best out there today, all things considered.

Best CPU I ever purchase - great value. Knocks Intels i7 and i9 out if the park.
