AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

I can’t speak on deep dive technical strengths and weaknesses since I haven’t kept up with the tech since 2004. I can tell you that the performance is leaps and bounds from what I started with. This chip replaced an AMD A10-5800K. It would take roughly 2-3 hours to transcode 1 hour and 45 minute videos in 1080p using handbrake. This Ryzen 3900x does it in 10-20 minutes! 4K takes awhile longer.... like 3 hours. CPU temps maxes out to 76°C while being worked hard. Idle temp is around 47°C using AIO water cooling.

I can compile the default linux kernel in just about a minute.

Non ho mai provato un processore così potente. Lo accendi e sei praticamente all’1% di utilizzo, fai partire discord, 400 pagine Google, Warzone in 4K, rendeRizzi un video con premiere in 2K e sta solamente al 20%! Una cosa assurda ! Mai mandato più forte del 25% e fidatevi è un’impresa! Portato a 100 solo col benchmark test e li anche con un dissipatore 3 ventola ho visto picchi di 90C, accettabile ma si potrebbe fare di più ! Estremamente consigliato ma solo per i più smanettoni e per chi non vuole compromessi su nulla !

I absolutely do not regret putting the extra money for this Beauty. High end gaming and video rendering at break neck speeds. Only downside are the temps which can be brought down with good coolers but overall, this rocks!

Very Happy. However, arrived with some bent pins. Had to delicately bend them back with a razor blade. Didnt look like it had been opened before so I have to assume it left the factory that way.

This card is everything I need and above what I need. Have no problems with it at stock running. Will plan some over clocking soon.

ce processeur est une bête de course, avant jétais Intel, cest fini pour linstant. Monté sur une Asus TUF Gaming PLUS X570, que du bonheur. Après réglages divers paramètres du bios, je suis à 4275 Mhz sur tous les cœurs, je ne dépasse pas les 65°C quand je travaille sur mon PC , principalement de la MAO. J ai remplacé le ventirad AMD par un Noctua NH-D15, au repos 38°C. Test Cinebench R23 je monte à 80°C. RAS.
