> 3 dayBest CPU (under $500) out there right now IMO. Works brilliantly and the included cooler is doing just fine keeping things cool.

Greater than one weekI came from a 4770k and x87 board / 1080ti card. My games started stuttering ( Division 2, Breakpoint, etc ), so I did some research. Since I use my computer for 3d modeling also, the Ryzen 3900x was the clear choice. Who cares if i lose a few fps on a game. In 2-3 years, all games will embrace multi-threaded 12+ core CPUs and it will be the gaming king. Since INTEL is having trouble developing anything close to 7nm process. Just do not buy a cheapo motherboard if you want to push this ship, get a $500 + 570 board if you want to make the most of your Ryzen

> 3 dayWhatched a lot of Gamers Nexus before hand. Used AMD as my first build all the way and came to learn, they have become incredibly reliable with their hardware.

> 3 dayI am building myself a PC. When I read the benchmarks for the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU compared to Intel’s i3, i5, and i7 CPUs; I just HAD to get the AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.

> 3 dayFinally switch to team red after been in team blue for 20+ years. It is an awesome CPU and a lot of horsepower that suit my need, no regret!

> 3 dayFast stable and consistent. This just chugs away at the process till complete. Video/photo/audio editing, compressing/decompression, simulation, cad/cam, rendering, format conversions, or even just large multi application tasks like never before. Recommend!
