When my i7 7700k died, I had “that” debate. I decided to go with this chip and I regret nothing. While not being the “latest and greatest” it still holds its own and really does all I ever ask of it. It is super stable and has really good drivers and software.

This CPU is amazing! It runs 100+ FPS at 1440p with ease and can be tamed with just a 240mm aio. However, do not buy it at more than retail ($450), or else its not good value for the money. Also, I don’t know if this is something to do with Amazon, but my package arrived in just a thin package with only a layer of bubble wrap! (The cpu was luckily undamaged).

Worked right out of the box and overclocked easily using provided Ryzen master program. Will be manually pushing it further later.

Finished my new PC build with this CPU, but however the idle temps are pretty high at full clock speed as there are lots of complaints on Reddit about these issues and even with every air or liquid cooler you use, its still the same thing. I have tried reapplying thermal paste on it but it only helped a little but still goes on the 60-66 degrees idle temperature.

After waiting 4 extra day to getting my CPU, installing it onto the motherboard, installing them into the case and everything is doing great now. Im enjoying my new computer every chance that I get. SUPER!

Ottimo processore, per tenerlo a bada consiglio vivamente un dissipatore a liquido 360.

There is nothing I’ve thrown at this processor so far that it can’t handle. It’s a beast. However, expect it to run pretty hot (this is normal) and personally I think the price should be lowered a little.
