AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

It’s hot, way hotter than 3700x. It’s not even as powerful as the Apple M1 in some cases like using Photoshop and Lightroom.

Works as intended.

The Ryzen 7 3800x is blazing fast. Make sure if your doing a clean windows install, that you make sure sure you have all the updates taken care of. Or the system will freeze up on you, If your not activating your copy of Windows it will blue screen with Clock_Watchdog_Timeout.

He was running a 6700K and finds this really dials up his performance on 3600 DDR. He did try a couple types of DDR and highly recommends the 3600 clock speeds at CL 16 or lower.

je ne suis pas déçu de mon achat. fiable performant gères le multi Trading avec cest 8 cœur et cest 16 threads cadencé à 3,9 ghz de base. point négatif rarement vue dépasser les 4,5 en boost mais plutôt à 4,4 ghz monter sur une carte mère msi Meg x570 ace et un wartercooling corsair. H115 i pro rgb les températures reste correct 27 degrés au repos 35 voir 40 degrés en charge se qui reste correct.

I upgraded from the Ryzen 5 2600 to this, and JESUS was that a good decision. It idles at 40-60C which is a bit hot, but Im going to water cool it with a 240mm radiator so Im hoping that will bring down the heat a bit. The stock cooler looks amazing with the RGB effect, and overall I cant complain at all. A very good CPU, well worth the money.

I received this CPU DOA and that really sucks cause Im an AMD fanboy. This is the first time Ive ever had this happen and it was pretty devastating considering the price and I saved up for it. Trust me I did everything I could to see if it was the CPU or something else and with a heavy heart it became glaringly obvious what the problem was. Im currently waiting to get a replacement and when I do I will update this review with complete honesty. I hope I can have a experience like everyone else and that this will become a positive review in a few days.
