AMD is setting new standards and innovations are prospering, Ive always enjoyed AMD products but these new CPUs are extremely versatile. Building a gaming PC has become enjoyable again. Using this in a system with TUF x570 MB, 32gig 3600 MHZ ram, TUF 5600xt card. Its un modified, comes in at the 93%. Incredible I cant wait to try the 9 series CPUs.

Awesome CPU.

This CPU is absolutely great. Great speeds and multi-core performance. In games where the i5-7600k has troubles, this does not and powers right through with ease. The 3800X goes only under 20-30% load for DCS (Digital Combat Simulator) which is a very high demanding game for both CPU and GPU. the i5-7600K is maxed at 100% while playing this game. So this CPU is definitely a great buy. Sort of wish I went 3900X for the hell of it since I do lots of multi-tasking and why not but the 3800X was cheaper (during a sale)

The CPU itself is a beast. It is great for encoding and works great for gaming. It powers through most tasks very efficiently.

I got this Processor on Sale for $350 and for that price I have gotten a lot of performance out of this amazing piece of tech. I would say that even for the full $400 this thing is a steal. I play a lot of games at 1440p and use applications like Blender and Unreal Engine and for all of these things, there has been no issues whatsoever. My Frame Rate is High, and where games would stutter and my GPU would be bottlenecked with my old processor (an Intel i7-3930k), everything is now completely smooth. I am going to try and overclock this thing pretty soon here and see how it handles. But I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this processor.

Very impressive. CPU initially clocked @ 3.9 GHZ out of the box. My old Ryzen 7 1700X ran at 3.4 GHZ and had to be overclocked to get close to this performance!!

I finally succumbed to the dark side and moved away from my i5 8600K and Gigabyte Z370 to this beast of a CPU, I paired it with a Rog Strix X570 E gaming MB, unlike the Intel CPUs this is very easy to install, the cooler comes pre pasted so you just line it up and click it in, once booted and optimized the difference is massive, I play COD (which is CPU bound and it runs at 42% against the i5 8600K which was maxed out.
