so far it seems to work but, pc takes longer to boot and sometimes when i accidentally knock the pc it freezes which it never did before installing this, seems to be all there though from running bios etc

I am happy. Though I fully knew what I was buying, your add is extremely deceptive. Unfortunately amazon allows this behavior. My understanding is these are business workstation pulls, workstations that are new, this happening all over the chip industry. FYI the 3700 Pro is not exactly the same as the 3700x you can not over clock this CPU its locked but has it additional security instructions.

Doesn’t come with thermal paste. Yes it’s on the fan unit that comes with. In my case I wanted to use my liquid cooled unit but without the paste I found myself scraping it off the fan cooled unit provided. Would have been nice to come with the thermal paste that it says it comes with.

Big upgrade went from a AMD R7 1800X to this R7 3700X. Direct Swap works Great.
