> 3 dayIt’s a Ryzen 7 3700x. That’s about it lol. It was definitely a good upgrade from my 1600 af. The only thing is that it came with five bent pokie bois. Luckily I was able to bend them back into place, but they can be easily broken. Make sure you look at them carefully before trying to install it or else it could get more damage. I gave it four instead of five because of that and I don’t know if that is a normal thing or just my shipping which was with Amazon prime.

> 3 dayI use gaming tech for running business apps, and this is a great choice. I paired it with an Asus motherboard (Crosshair VIII Hero) and the set up problems were all about the MB - hard to read black on black, and confusing utilities. But the Ryzen 7 seems like a great processor. Note that the supplied cooler weighs a lot, and Id hate to use it in a system that had to move between locations.

> 3 dayI purchased this CPU (Ryzen 7 3700x) in June, it made it about 5 months before it pretty much died. I was watching a YouTube video and suddenly my pc bluescreened, I swapped around my ram and finally got it to post, but ram channel A no longer worked, I thought it was the motherboard that had gone bad, so I bought a new one (Asus TUF X570). But it made no difference, ram channel A still dead, and after about a week the pc now restarts constantly. Ive never messed with overclocking and my system has never even come close to overheating. I contacted AMD because its supposed to have a one year warranty, but they cant do anything about it because I no longer have the box, which has got to be the dumbest policy Ive ever seen. I sent them the picture of the box with the serial number on the security seal taken before I even opened it but they told me it wasnt enough so now Im stuck with a $300, 8 core paperweight. Thanks AMD. Back to Intel I go.
