> 3 dayAMD is dominating the market with affordable CPU solutions. While I have since replaced the stock cooler (kind of loud), it is great for someones first build. You can control the RGB with Mystic Light. The CPU itself is fast and suits my gaming and productivity needs.

> 3 dayWhen I received the box, it had the tamper evident sticker on it, so I thought it was new. However, once I opened everything and began to install, it is clear that it has been used before, which is deeply disappointing. First I noticed pitting and scratches on the underside of the stock cooler (see picture), as well as a square shaped residue left from the previous owners thermal paste. They hadnt even bothered to clean it all off and make it look new!

> 3 dayWent from a ryzen 5 1600 to this ryzen 7 and its night and day. Cpu performs well and Temps stay low with the cooler it comes with. Does awesome with gaming and the frames per second and stability has definitely improved

> 3 dayI upgraded my wife’s gaming/streaming computer for Christmas. Don’t get me wrong, she did upgrade from a 6 gen i3, so anything newer was going to be better. But this exceeded all expectations. She is streaming 1080 at 60fps and drops. On top of that, her rig looks good with the cooler and all the lights. It was easy to install and no problems out of the box. I’m not a tech genius so I don’t know any of the benchmarks or any of the more technical stuff, but as a hobbyist the real world usage of this is amazing.

> 3 dayFast performance and ridiculous multithreading capability. Great if you run multiple VMs on your PC or encode media. If you dont do any of that and only game youre probably better off the Intel Core7, but if you want the flexibility to do it all this is a great value.
