Now that the all the early adopter kinks were found and addressed with the previous generation, this CPU has given me no negative issues to address. With its 8 core 16 threads this chip should stay relevant for a long while. If your strictly a gamer than go to Intel, but if you want a all around great chip that you do not have to replace in the next 5 years this is it.

Ill preface this by saying both my personal and work computer run this processor because it is wild how much performance you get for the money. I have confidence in the AM4 platform for the next line of AMD processors and anticipate my motherboard running something even more amazing with the upcoming Zen 2 architecture.

A very sleek and stylish cpu superb value to power ratio works brilliantly with my rx 570 8gb 32gb ram. Good upgrade from my ageing ryzen 5 1600 which will go into my second machine. Slight noise when overclocked but otherwise brilliant all round will fit most boards especially asrock a320 hdv r4.0 which can be bought on Amazon for 40ish.
