This processor is amazing. I have it in an ESXi server running a gaming VM with a GTX1060 (passthrough) for streaming games to a tablet for me, a rendering VM with a GTX1050 (passthrough) for my mom, a FreeNAS VM with an LSI 9211-8i (passthrough) for SSD- and HDD-based ZFS storage, a Plex VM, and a handful of other Linux VMs running across several SSDs. These are all running 24/7 on a single box and this processor has not missed a beat (or even hit 100% usage long enough for it to end up on sensor logs). Plus great power effeciency (reads under 100W at the wall for ALL of the above -- also why I opted not to get the 2700x) and runs significantly cooler compared to my old dual-Xeon R710 (alright, alright, not the fairest of comparisons). The spire cooler is also quite fun, and its a little sad I cant see it since its in a window-less case in my rack). I cannot recommend this enough.

As a systems engineer by day, and someone who enjoys building PCs and playing games on them, I can tell you that this CPU will not let you down! The cost on it, when paired against Intel CPUs, has always been the biggest advantage in my mind. I have used AMD for a very long time ( Back in the Thunderbird CPU Days ) and have always come back to them time and time again. I advise people who are building PCs to go this route because of the money saved being able to be used in some of the higher end PC Parts like Video Cards, Larger SSDs, or extra RAM for the machine. The stock cooler that comes with it I cant comment on because I put a Corsair AIO cooler on it from the beginning, but I have heard it does a decent job on this CPU.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 Processor with Wraith Spire LED Cooler. Maximum Temperature 95 degree Celsius. Total L1 Cache 768KB. System Memory Specification = 2933 MHz.
