Cant comment for gaming but studio pc this chip is crazy good tracks that were overloading my fx 3850 black overclocked barely touch this new one amazing

Even this CPU is not the latest 3000 series from AMD. It runs fast and cool. The stock cooler is queit and LED built in.

Fast. 8 cores. Zero noise. Cool fan. What more can you ask?

Ive always liked AMD processors. While this one is last generation and not the top of the line, its a snappy little thing with lots of umph. Havent given it a thorough workout yet, but have no complaints from what I have seen.

Works great.. but is it suppose to run at 70 degrees?

This was my fist AMD processor, and although it does not support FRS(FidelityFX™ Super Resolution) the pure core count and the over clocking ability of this CPU was more than enough for my gaming needs. If you dont need FRS this could be a great budget CPU. I pair mine with an RX 580 8gb
