Very easy to install, wraith cooler was a very easy installation as well. Plug and play!! If you have the extra few bucks go with the 7600x but you cant go wrong with this CPU.

I purchased for general use as well a processing some video and photo files. Adding a 8GB, RX570 GPU and 32 GB of RAM and SSD it does the job. Using Lightroom it converted 599 RAW file (14GB total) into JPG in about 4 minutes. My 3 year old I7 with 8GB RAM took over 30 minutes. I processed 8 video clips from the original (.mov file, 7GB total) and 20 minutes long. It took 3 minutes to render into H264/Medium quality. Very happy with the results.

Gaming and streaming without problems.

Solid cpu. Replaced a faulty 3900XT with this cpu. As a gamer I found this to be a much better choice. Best value for your dollar.

The 5600x - if you can snag one at the MSRP - is easily the best budget CPU of the early 2020s. 6 cores and multi-threading, combined with zippy base clock speeds and zippier turbo speeds means youve got both good multi-core performance and good single-core performance in the same chip.
