AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

One of the best CPUs I have ever owned. Performs has expected, no issue installing it but you have to flash the correct BIOS into the motherboard before you installed or it won’t POST. once again an amazing CPU for the money.

You can save $20-30 and only lose 1-2% performance if you go for the 5600 instead. I know the X makes it seems faster just like more rgb.

I upgraded from the Ryzen 5 2600 to this 5500x. To give you an idea of the power this has, playing Cyberpunk 2077 with a RTX 2070 I went from upper 30’s to upper 60/70 on High settings, and Ray Tracing OFF. Pair this with some quick RAM anything 3600 or better.

Whats the use if I cant afford a GPU. Thanks Amazon, I understand supply and demand, but allowing third party price gouging is ridiculous. Was contemplating returning everything, but its not the other manufacturers fault.

Great CPU, have not had any problem playing the newest games at 1080p and some at 1440p
