AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Was looking to upgrade at low cost, so I went for the CPU first, I did a swap from the 1600 Rysen to the 5600X. in 6 months or so I will upgrade the Video card. For the moment, I can tell the games load faster, fot the graphique side I will know when the GPU is replaced.

I had been running a 2600x on an Asus B450 motherboard. Saw a promotion on the 5600x and decided to upgrade. The replacement is smooth and painless.

My PC has been telling me for some time that it couldnt update Windows 10. When I investigated, it was largely due to how I had set up the boot up configuration on my build. I corrected all that, and Windows 10 successfully updated. However, when I attempted to install Windows 11, I was told that Windows 11 didnt support my CPU. I discovered that the all-singing-all-dancing Ryzen 7 1700X chip that I bought 5 years ago isnt on the Windows 11 support list. Begrudgingly, I embarked on a search for an up-to-date AM4 processor.

my previous CPU is 1600X and while it was no slough, this 5600X does make you feel the difference, especially if you can pair it with your GPU and enable resizable BAR, gaming will be much more smoother

Yeh, I know there are better options out there, being the Ryzen 9 and 7 series exsist, but this is one beastly cpu. Like for real. Ive ripped my CPU out my motherboard (bc it got stuck to the fan) and despite a few vent pins, shes working flawlessly after a year. This cpu works just as good as nearly most of the Ryzen 7 line ups. Shes I think the best Ryzen 5 you can get. If you are on a budget and need a long term one cpu, this is THE best CPU you can get. Simply because I went from using a rx 570 with her, to a 3070ti. She works good with em higher GPUs.

First one I ordered was DOA. I tried it in two different systems and I spent hours trying to figure out why I could not get it to boot. Was alot of fun. Finally decided to return it for a replacement. The replacement worked, but still a pain in the butt to set up.

Ottima cpu, stabile, non scalda troppo, avevo un ryzen 5 2600 e l’upgrade è valso la pena, incremento cospicuo in fps e velocità di rendering, per il prezzo che ha penso sia il miglior processore, in molti consigliano il nuovo i5 che supporta le ddr5, ma se volete proprio il ddr5 aspettate i nuovi processori, sennò questo fa al caso vostro.

For the money spent, this is probably the best CPU you can buy to put you in any kind of power player league. I can get over 250 FPS and never have a hickup.
