Easy to install, no problems with alignment. Yes, this has a factory thermal paste on it. A lot of people seem to ask that question. You will most likely not need to purchase thermal paste, unless you are looking to overclock. At that point, you’ll most likely need a better heat sync anyway. So if you’re installing this as is, it is ready to go out of box.

I built a new gaming PC and pondered the 5 vs 7, but the the money this one takes the cake. True it is not quite as fast as the 7, but the performance is great and I am not disappointed with the speed.

I started looking to build a new computer just as the COVID-19 pandemic started affecting chip supplies. I am not a hardcore gamer though I wanted the ability to dabble in a game or two. I definitely did not want to overpay for a budget graphics card so I kept following new APU chips as they came on the market over the last year and a half. Intel had some hit the market in the last year but there built in graphics leave a lot to be desired.

Removed ryzen 7 5700g from new hp pavillion desktop for new build and replaced with this ryzen 5 5600g. It works just as well for me and seems a bit quicker.
