AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics

For a new Linux Mint build I paired Ryzen 5 5600G with new Gigabyte motherboard. Seemed to work ok at first but soon after during video format conversions, PC began restarting during conversions and sometimes just during web browsing. First contacted Gigabyte for suggestions and performing some of their suggestions including resetting cooler with new thermal paste still had same random restart problem. Decided to purchase a MSI motherboard to see if it would solve problem which it did not. Then I purchased another new Ryzen 5 5600G directly from AMD website and paired it with the new MSI motherboard. After several days of running including 2hr video conversion and a few Gtkstresstesting software stress tests, PC is running fine with no random restarts. Can only conclude that original Ryzen 5 CPU is defective. Not sure I can return being electronic parts.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics is just what I needed, had to replace AMD Ryzen 3 3100 which had no Graphics, would only work only if dedicated video card was used! Remember to Update Youre Bios

Revisé en mil sitios diferentes, y debería ser compatible con una asus prime b350 plus después de actualizar la BIOS, actualicé y la PC no encendía, conseguí una asus prime b550m-a y tampoco prendió la pc después de varios intentos. Pude comprobar con un Ryzen 5 1600 y ambas motherboards funcionan a la perfección con el, por lo que me lleva a creer que me llegó un procesador defectuoso

Ho scelto questo processore, data la mancanza di GPU a prezzi ragionevoli.

dopo anni con Intel , ho scento questo R5600G per una build medi ed economica con grafica integrata che mi consentisse di fare un pò di tutto tra gaming base , restro gaming , e video editing base.
