Managed to grab this beauty for $160. coming from Xeon 1231v3. xeon was very stable and stays with me in another build.

Comes with its own cooler, with thermal paste already applied. Simply pop into the motherboard, add the cooler and youve got a super fast processor.

I upgraded my rig from a Ryzen 1600, Rx 570 4gb to the Ryzen 3600 and rtx 2060 and all I can say is WOW. I didn’t get the 2060 at the same time maybe a week later and saw an average of 20+ frames for the few games I play just from the cpu alone. worked just fine from day one on my crosshair 6 hero x370 mobo after a bios update.

The CPU itself works fine, but the cooler provided had a section (one side) of the heatsink bent. So the screw was bent too making it impossible to mount. I had to use pliers to bend and straighten it back myself which took a lot of force and trial and error. I spent about 2 hours trying to mount it.
