AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

Gives me some pretty nice performance at a damn good price. Have 2 of em now since I recently purchased a second for the purpose of upgrading girlfriends rig. Would absolutely buy a third.

This is an excellent CPU, all cores got up to 4192Mhz. However, not an excellent product. AMD may have included a cooler with it but that cooler is useless. You should budget for a cooler if youre going with this or just pay the extra ~$30 and pick up the 3600X which seemingly has a significantly better stock cooler.

The CPU was clearly a repackaged return with absolutely no care taken to confirm that the part was cleared for resale. To add insult to injury the CPU was listed as brand new/unopened. Currently waiting on the arrival of a x570 motherboard to validate weather or not the CPU is even functional. Very disappointed.

The fan is very loud. So loud that I immediately bought a new one. I did not have time to return this faulty one. For what I paid for the processor, plus an additional fan, I could have RYZEN 5 3600X. This should not happen.

For a medium budget build, this cpu is definitely what to go for. If you pair this with the xfx radeon 590, it will give you 100+ fps in almost every game. It compares to the intel i7 but is 30 dollars cheaper.

Upgrade, sadly the cpu was defective as would not work with the motherboard. Old cpu was (and is still) working but son really wanted this for his birthday. Therefore have bought another which is amazing and requested refund. Sadly the seller whilst having authorised the return, has not replied to communications and despite the item having been signed for their end, has not processed any refund. The product warrants a 5 all round but customer service is not so great.
