AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler

I got this as a mid priced cpu for my new gaming rig, its great! Easy to install, comes with a reasonable cooler which doesnt look awful and performs well

This cpu performs excellently and I have had no issues. I am even using a b350 motherboard from years ago and it works great. I haven’t had any issues.

There were a few bent pins that needed to be forcefully straightened. Hopefully this doesn’t hurt my cpu set up when the rest of my parts come in.

Wow. What can I say, for $166, upgrading from the Ryzen 3 3200g to this beast, its truly poetry in motion. I did get hung up on installation after my backplate fell to the other side of the computer, and this is my first build, but this CPU works perfectly with my Asus 320m motherboard and XGX Radeon RX 570 8GB GPU, but around $1200 in all, and amazing case, mouse, and keyboard invluded at Computerupgradekings (on Amazon), I finally have a badass machine that benches with the best of them. Will upgrade GPU more later as that is currently my weakest link

This CPU has treated me very well!

I bought this CPU to build an engineering CAD workstation. The chip is solid and can take everything I throw at it. However, I had some issues when I started it up - I was experiencing random shutdowns and stalls when doing heavy graphics oriented tasks. I discovered that the CPU was overheating and shutting the computer down. it turns out that the Wraith cooler that comes with the chip is inadequate to keeping the chip cool. I replaced it with an aftermarket cooler (Coolermaster Hyper 212) and the problem went away. I recommend this if you plan to use any of the Ryzen chips. Aftermarket coolers are relatively cheap and work much better than the supplied one.

Il processore è ottimo per giocare e volendo anche per lavorare, ma il dissipatore è scarso. Carino esteticamente, facile da montare e poco ingombrante, ma le temperature vanno dai 50 gradi in idle fino a 80 gradi sotto sforzo, e il case è completamente aperto. Per giunta la ventola produce un ronzio molto fastidioso che quasi sicuramente proviene dal cuscinetto, ma può darsi che ne abbia ricevuta una un po difettosa e che sia un caso isolato.
