I honestly built my new gaming system in part due to the promotional elements of both the video card I purchased and this processor. My frustration lies not in the processors performance, but in AMDs unwillingness to help me redeem my games that came as promotional items. I couldnt afford to do a complete build that could power on in one shot (I had the video card, processor and M2 SATA drive), but was waiting to save up the funds for the RAM, Motherboard, and PSU. So I contacted them directly as directed by their FAQ, which stated they could help me with an alternative means of redemption for the coupon codes (you are sent a coupon code, then you need to register with AMDRewards, then install hardware verification software, then they send you the actual codes) if you couldnt install the software. They declined to help me after a several week back and fourth.

I was worried about this processor not being suitable for my motherboard, but after taking a closer look it was ready to go out of the box with no BIOS update necessary. I am very impressed with this processor and I get fantastic benchmark scores.

I ordered this months ago but im in the process of building my own tower. i finally got my last piece today after months of saving just to find out this piece is not working and im unable to return it because of the large time window. Im extremely unhappy as its not exactly a cheap item. It wasnt packaged correctly so was probably chucked around in that box and got damaged.
