I upgraded from fx 8350 and let me just say for gaming I was blown away I couldnt have made a better choice, only downside is this makes me want the 2700x that much more

Its on par to an i5, its got 6 cores, its really great for gaming. A huge bump up from my previous 4th generation cpu (xeon) and it supports ddr4 memory + has an upgradable platform (am4). Honestly, I highly recommend this cpu if youre on a budget but dont have enough for a ryzen 5 3600.
