Amazon Basics Wood Monitor Stand, Computer Riser, Walnut

My cat kept sitting on my laptop so I got this to put it on top of the laptop keyboard. Works perfectly.

This is a nice and sturdy shelf. Very easy to put together, just 4 allen screws that go into metal inserts that have already been put into the bottom of the shelf. Thats a nice extra touch so you dont strip the screws going directly into the wood. I know they are designed to raise your monitor off your desk, and would work fine for that. I have a desktop mount arms mount for my two monitors, so I am using it to put my desktop computer on to keep it off the floor. Gives you a nice 4 inches or so lift, and is plenty sturdy for either purpose. The wood shelf feels heavy and doesnt seem like pressboard at all.

Obwohl das Board recht robust erscheint und es ordnungsgemäß verpackt war, ist da eine sehr sichtbare Beschädigung, die den Eindruck trübt, siehe Bild. Möglicherweise kann sich Amazon ja zu einem Rabatt durchringen. Rücksendung und Ersatz erscheint mir zu aufwendig!
