Amazon Basics Heavy Duty Sponges, 6 Count

Not as good s the top brands, but still a good value for the money. I have been using these sponges for about 2 weeks. Absorbancy could be better, works best when dryer. I usually need to run a towel over the area after moping up a spill. The scrubbing side works well. The scrubber is just starting to delaminate from the sponge, but that even happens with the top brands. Still, a decent sponge for the money and a good replacement for the premium brands.

Is there a difference in quality with sponges? Lesson here is yes. While if you are just looking for an inexpensive sponge these are OK, they dont last compared to some of the more expensive name brand scrub sponges. In fact, the first one lasted a mere week (with no abnormal use), which I thought was a fluke, but the second did the same. Large parts of the sponge came off, the backing for the scrubber also came off on the second one. These are OK for dirty jobs like cleaning a grill or something, but they are not good replacements for your daily-use kitchen sponge.

I am always on the look out for less expensive yet effective products for my home, life, and person. I have watched Scrub Daddy sponges rise in popularity, but I have been put off by their high price. My go-to sponge brand has been O-Cedar, but like everything else these days the price has inflated. After reading reviews, I took a chance on the Amazon brand scrubby sponges, and I am quite happy with my purchase. The sponges are durable, long-lasting, and do a great job of cleaning dishes, sinks, and countertops. Yes, the O-Cedar sponges may last a bit longer than these, but these sponges are still a bargain given the price difference. I will definitely purchase these again.

One side to scrub, other to wash dishes. Seems to work well, but they do wear out.

What can I say, there scrubbers....? Great value package deal. Right degree of average grit abrasive for light cleaning..

I bought these to replace my scrub daddy kitchen sponges since I got new pans. They scrub enough to get off dried stuff even without using the PowerWash. No scratches on soft glasses either! Great buy for the value and highly recommend. I’ve saved this link so I can buy again when it’s time.

They arent as strong or scrubby as more expensive sponges, but at this price they are fantastic! I used to get sponges from a discount store, but these are cheaper and work way better! If youre not looking for anything fancy but do want results, try these out!
