Better than what I expected

I usually am very careful with my portable hard drives, due to most of my music collection being in them, so I decided to try this case out. It doesnt fit your larger size hard drives (i.e; Seagate or Toshibas), but the wds fit just fine. Thx.

I use this case for all of my portable hard drives. Although it makes each one much thicker especially when Im traveling, I can toss it into my bag without having to worry about it getting crushed. This is isnt a super heavy duty case but definitely it gets the job done. I have included a couple photos, one with my Seagate backup plus 4TB drive and the other a WD Passport Essentials 500GB drive. There is a nice little netting pouch for the wires. For the price its amazing!

This is a good little case. Its typically priced cheaper than the WD My Passport carrying case and that case is a soft sleeve style case vs this case which is a hard case. I have 1TB and 2TB USB 3.0 toshiba carnivo (connect and basic) and WD passport hard drives and this case works for all of them. I have several and have owned a few for some time and the zipper is still in tact and works fine. There isnt any padding but the little elastic strap and the snug fit helps keep the drive from sliding around. It also keeps dust off the drive. With the 2TB drives, the case closes more easily if I maneuver the cable such that the connector is at the top of the case where there is a little empty space between the drive and the case perimeter. My only complaint is that it only comes in black. I have several drives so I buy some of the other cases in different colors just so I can more easily identify drives without having to open the case to see which is inside. This case is more than twice as thick as the Seagate Slim 2TB HD I bought it for. That wouldnt be a big deal if it were full of padding on the inside but its not. Its hollow with a lot of empty space inside.
