Amazon Basics External Hard Drive Portable Carrying Case

I bought two of these for the new 2TB WD Passport drives I acquired recently. These cases are perfect for that drive, but if you have a drive that is larger than the Passport, it might not fit. So be sure to look at the measurements carefully before you order one if you are planning to use it for something besides a Passport.

This is a terrific case, especially for the price! Handsome and sturdy. I bought this to protect my Seagate Backup Plus Slim portable external drive and it fits in there beautifully. One side of the case has netting to keep the hard drive secure, and the other side of the case has an elastic strap to keep the USB cable in place. I couldnt be happier with this purchase. This is a good case for the average user. Overall I think the durability is worth 4 stars. It’s not the hardest case available, but hard enough to protect against minor bumps. It works well for my use and will protect my hard drive from scratches. Fits WD My Passport perfectly.

Im super picky about protecting my electronics and documents. I LOVE this case. Its a funny thing to love, but it keeps my external and its USB plug in wire perfectly safe and dry. It was worth the wait during the back order. Plus it came about 3 weeks earlier than was estimated!
