All-Clad Stainless Steel Measuring Cup Set, 5-Piece, Silver

> 3 dayFirst off... no rusting issues that others have noted. Ive machine and hand-washed them. Do they perform any better than the cheaper sets? No... of course not. But they _are_ lovely to hold and use. Do they nest perfectly? Not always.. but usually. Do I say oh cool...I get to use the measuring cups... when I need to use them? Its sort of silly... but yes. Will they outlast my great-great-grandchildren (my oldest is five)? I suspect by quite a few years. In short... it was an unnecessary indulgence. And Im glad I made it.

16-11-2024Well made and will last a lifetime. Just a little chunkier than I expected so I cant stack the entire set together in the drawer. Have to make 2 smaller stacks which take up a bit more space. Would purchase again.

> 3 dayI only received four of the five promised cups, missing the 2/3 cup. While Im waiting to hear back from the seller (Go-Go-Gone) I contacted All Clad who said, Unfortunately, the Amazon description is incorrect. We do not have a 2/3 measuring cup that comes in the set. Im returning of course but also waiting to hear from the seller to see if theyll update the description since it cant be accurate according to All Clad.

> 3 dayMy set was heavy and well made. Unlike for some reviewers, each sat neatly inside the other. I have 2 All Clad sauce pans, and with these its like having five miniatures of them. Same thick metal and easy cleanup. I can melt butter on the stove in them with no problem.

> 3 dayThese measuring cups rock. A beefy work of art that will be future heirlooms. They are cool and perfectly sized to scoop ingredients out of containers. Would be an awesome gift that people would appreciate. Buy them!

> 3 dayI bought these for the wife last Christmas. We both love them. Theyre insanely sturdy. Seriously... Im not kidding about the 1 cupr. Its got some heft to it. The only reason Im giving these great measuring cups 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the somewhat poor design. I say this because these cups do NOT stack well. Perhaps they werent designed to do so, but we did find it moderately disappointing just the same. If stacking together, the 1/3 fits just snuggly enough inside the 1/4 that it can (and has on occasion) become stuck inside the 1/4. Further, the 1/4 doesnt fit inside the 1/2. Thus... all in all, I believe there is room for improvement in the design. That small thing aside, these measuring cups are well worth while. You wont find a more sturdy set.

> 3 dayWell, these things are certainly beautiful, heavy and seemingly well built. However, with all the rivets, they really dont nest very easily. In fact, the smallest cup doesnt even fit fully into the next bigger size, and to get any of them apart you must carefully lift it straight up. Theyre so tight when stacked that you cant easily spin them to get down to ones lower in the stack. I have sent mine back for a refund. The rivet design is overkill and not very functional for this size, in my opinion. Im thinking to go with either the Sur La Table set or William-Sonoma. Update: I bought the Sur La Table cups. Similar heavy duty and nice finish to the All Clad, but no rivets. In fact, the handle and cup are all one piece, and all as substantial as the All-Clad, so no fear of the handle breaking off or bending.

> 3 dayFirst, I have washed and dried my set several times and have noticed no rusting, as several other reviewers have noticed, and would be equally disgusted if they did show signs of rust. Maybe this has more to do with different levels of minerals in water depending on our area of the country? Just a thought. Second, while I like the set a lot, they are indeed heavy, heavier than I expected, and so if youre maybe older (my grandma complained at how heavy the All-Clad kettle is, for example) and want something lighter, this set isnt for you. But for the rest of us All-Clad fans they continue to be the investment we think the brand is as a whole.
