Decent for the price. It is a very light laptop but has enough power to do some gaming. The screen is good, bright enough for most applications. Would have been nice if it came with Windows 10 Pro.

DC charging port out of the box is BROKEN, makes a crunching/poor connection noise on first connection (must plug in to be able to boot for first time) then shortly failed entirely and cannot charge, meaning Acer has either ZERO Quality Control from the factory OR Amazon/Acer selling trash refurbs they didnt even look at after the first return, a process MANY big corps have been found guilty of and unfortunately both corps here giving that strong impression, wasting my time trying to find some brand loyalty (my first acer). Or did their planned obsolescence just glitch and kick in super early? Lose lose lose for everybody.

Middle ground between student, creator, and gamer. Runs all mobas at 1080p 60 easily and doesnt over heat or get too loud like those razer laptops.

I am accustomed to a more robust use in my laptops. call me old-school I guess. It is not easy to type on with speed or accuracy as the keyboard seems designed for hunt-and-peck. I dont like much about any of the keyboard functions as I use more than the mouse to save time. Theres more, but I will simply put it off to generational differences and this being a product with limited functions that is marketed to a generation of new users. It does hold a charge so I like the battery life and it was highly rated by the tech mags, so I bit. Now, I feel bitten and for the money, burned.

started up the laptop. everything seemed fine until about 30-45 minutes after when the left side of the laptop started to get increasingly warm compared to the right. feeling the airflow on the bottom, i could only feel airflow from the fan working on the right.

Definitely worth its price. Good for daily work

was for the wife. she picked it out and got no major complaints. only thing is the backlit keyboard is auto-on upon startup -- white light blends with the silver keys in the daytime. used to crash when using big Excel documents but i removed a lot of the junkware booting when computer did and that solved the ram issue. for a slim laptop this is good quality.

I got this for work since Im constantly having to move around. This works great. The only thing that I should have gotten was one with a touch screen. But I dont really need that. I havent tried to game on it so I dont know what games it will play. But it is fast when moving between programs and having multiple windows open.

This laptop is pretty powerful for its size, I do still image and video processing. When plugged in its reasonably fast. Battery life is pretty good un-plugged doing not CPU intensive activities. The screen resolution is acceptable. The screen is very bright, I turn down the brightness a lot in less bright settings.
