> 24 hourOn the left is a Gigabyte m27q. An extreme budget 1440p, 27, 170hz monitor I paid $259 last year. On the right is the Acer SB241YH sold in this listing. Its a 1080p, 23.8, 75hz monitor for $154.99. The $100 difference should be in smaller size and lack of resolution. But instead its smaller size, less resolution AND awful colors, no darks, blocky edges. Its terrible! I am not spoiled by my m27q because this Acer monitor is replacing a super cheap old 24 1080p LED ViewSonic (that died after it drank my coffee) that I used for a 3rd monitor for spreadsheets. That cheap 6 or 8 year old worn out monitor had way better colors than brand new this junk.. Acer you should be ashamed of yourself. There is no way this monitor should be sold for anything over $75-80. At the time of writing this review its back in the box for return.

> 24 hourI use this as a second laptop monitor. 1080P isnt the greatest resolution and you can see pixels but for the money its fine. I probably wouldnt get it or gaming , just a second laptop monitor.

> 24 hourBought this monitor to go with new Acer Desktop. About 6 weeks ago the computer would randomly refresh. Contacted Acer for the desktop (under warranty). I was told to take it to a local repair shop because Acer couldnt figure out what was going on with. Got a new router, changed power supply cords, different outlets. Contacted Acer again. Now they want me to pay to ship it FedEx for them to look at it. Research on the monitor. Tried all the same trouble shooting with the monitor. Same thing, its under warranty and I am supposed to pay to have it shipped to them, they will try to recreate the problem and if they cant, then I will have to pay repair prices. Long story short, dont buy Acer if want to deal with a company that doesnt stand by their products that are under warranty. I shouldnt have to pay for any shipping. And something that isnt even a year old shouldnt stop working. I will NEVER buy another Acer product.

> 24 hourI love the narrow bezel, the picture quality and the price was reasonable. However, the monitor stands are not height adjustable and the mounts in the back are not the standard VESA (i.e. 4x4 plate) so you cannot use an old monitor stand. So you have to buy special mounting brackets or adapters. Also it does not come with any cables (HDMI or digital monitor cable). Lastly one of my laptops does not connect. I think probably a firmware issue so I searched ACERs downloads but the file posted is corrupted and after calling ACER tech support they basically had no clue. In a nutshell I have never had so many issues with setting up monitors that should be plug and play. If I knew that I would have bought another product.

> 24 hourIve been happy with this monitor, but I wish I had realized that they dont come with speakers. Otherwise, I would recommend them. I dont use it for gaming so I cant comment on that.
